Unfortunately homebirth is not available within the public health system in Victoria and there is no Medicare rebate for a midwife's fee. Some private health insurance companies will cover all or part of the cost of a homebirth. Women sometimes choose to use a portion of the lump sum maternity payment to pay for their homebirth.
For a current schedule of fees please contact me (details below).

I live in Narre Warren South but cover a wide area including Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, the Dandenong Ranges and some areas of the Mornington Peninsula & Gippsland.

I now work in a midwifery group practice Eastside Midwives This enables women to have a known second midwife & back-up in the unlikely event that I am at another birth.
